Jakarta Tourisindo Ready to Develop Seribu Islands Tourism

Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) for City Government, PT Jakarta Tourisindo is ready to take a part in development of tourism sector, especially in Seribu Islands.

According to governor's mandate, we're ready to participate according to the company's business, that are hotel and tourism management

"According to governor's mandate, we're ready to participate according to the company's business, that are hotel and tourism management," said Arnaldo Parengkuan, Director of PT Jakarta Tourisindo after a joint meeting of City Council Commission B and C discussing on General Policy for City Budget Priorities and the Tentative Budget Platform (KUA PPAS) in Banggar room, Wednesday (8/31).

Arnaldo disclosed that has also opened another meeting with Seribu Islands Regent to discuss development of tourism sector. Later on, there will be mapping for prioritizing development.

Creativity of City Tourism Event Needs to Be Improved

"The regent will invite us to do observation in the field, to look for islands that will be developed in term of tour sector," he expressed.

He added his party also plans to open a meeting with regent and Economy Bureau next week. It is hoped could encourage Seribu Islands Regency to become a world tourist destination.
